Access FREE remote training with multi-award winning Lyfta.

With the ongoing challenges we are facing with Covid-19, there is a brilliant opportunity to access FREE remote training with an organisation you might already know about, Lyfta.

This will provide excellent opportunities for your students over the coming months, so please sign up yourselves, or encourage your colleagues to participate. Access to the Lyfta product is also FREE for all state-funded schools for the rest of this academic year.

What is Lyfta?

Lyfta is a multi-award winning teaching tool which gives children and teachers access to human story-based learning experiences from around the world via stunning, interactive and immersive 360-degree documentary storyworlds.

Free CPD on Global Citizenship course

Lyfta runs a free, certified, professional development course for teachers as part of the British Council’s Connecting Classrooms through Global Learning programme, which focuses on teaching Sustainable Development Goals, skills and values.

The 2-hour CPD session is delivered via trainer-led webinar and allows participants to explore ways to weave global citizenship into the curriculum. Attending the webinar unlocks free access to Lyfta’s spectacular storyworlds, lesson and assembly plans for at least a term. The course includes support to plan and deliver at least one session for the participant’s school and a follow-up review session to share best practice and impact.

The course is available to all teachers, leaders and support staff from state-funded primary, secondary and special schools in England. Particularly useful to educators teaching Literacy, P4C, PSHE, Citizenship, SMSC, Geography, R.E, Art, and those doing work around the Sustainable Development Goals.

How can I sign up to the online training?

To find out more about the training programme and to book onto a session at a time that suits you, please go to www.lyfta.com/ccgl

You just need a PC or laptop with sound to take part. If you have a built-in microphone (or you can use headphones) and webcam too, that is also useful but not essential.

We hope you will take up this great opportunity.
