Mindfulness in Schools Project is inviting NAHT members and their families to join them in a free daily mindfulness practice online.
These drop-in sessions are intended to nourish, support and connect people with each other through these unprecedented times.
Sessions are held at 11am every week day and are open to everyone (adults and children). Sessions last 20-30 minutes and are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with experience of mindfulness practice. These sessions offer a chance to have a daily pause, to refocus on how we can best take care of ourselves and, in turn, of others.
We will also be holding evening drop-in sessions on at 7.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays for adults and older children with some experience of mindfulness practice which will include slightly longer periods of silence.
Do join the leading mindfulness in education charity to share mindfulness practice with the wider schools community. Bring the children and young people in your care, your family, your housemates, your colleagues or just by yourself – please just be aware that these sessions are aimed at adults, and any children attending must be with an adult.
