Dave McPartlin

Dave McPartlin, Headteacher of Flakefleet Primary (Britain’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer and Finalist 2019, Pearson Primary School of the Year Finalist 2019, Laughology Happiest Primary School 2018) wants his children, staff and community to live their lives with a ‘Dare to Dream’ philosophy. With hard work, resilience and a good dose of creativity, his school have taken on the Christmas charts, persuaded some of the nation’s favourite celebrities to star in their Nativity and even chartered their own helicopter for their Royal Wedding.  The can-do culture, sense of belonging and self-efficacy that has been created and nurtured within the school have helped raise standards, drive the school forward and put it at the very heart of the community. Dave firmly believes that happy children make better learners and happy staff make better teachers – after a short time in his company, you’ll hopefully go away feeling inspired and more empowered to challenge the status quo and ‘Dare to Dream’ yourself.
