Ofsted Update – Reducing the stress and workload with Ofsted inspections is a popular NAHT course for school leaders and governors, which supports schools to maximise school improvement strategies in order to ensure that you and your staff feel confident and “Ofsted Ready”.
The course is fast paced, practical and meaningful and focuses on reducing stress and ensuring you are working on meaningful data collection, which enhances your practice rather than overwhelming you and your staff with unnecessary paperwork.
I try to ensure that during the day you have ample opportunity to personalise the course and ask the questions, which are relevant to your setting. We will have an open dialogue and a relaxed day, discussing the latest updates from Ofsted, how to prepare for the phone call and how to communicate your curriculum effectively without lots of extra work. I will then take you through each aspect of the framework and we discuss how to present your evidence succinctly for each area and embed school improvement strategies into your day-to-day quality cycle. By the end of the day delegates leave feeling very positive, with strategies to take back to school that will reduce workload and streamline school improvement strategies.
We provide delegates with useful resources to take away from this course to support you to reduce your paperwork load and to prepare your staff and governors for deep dives and conversations with inspectors. I have senior leaders that I see every year on this course; this is a great way to keep up to date and take the opportunity to refresh your quality cycle and feel confident that you are embracing best practice in your school.
